CHIMELONG ICON COMPETITION
LOCATION: MACAU, CHINA
The concept is sculptural tower representing lucky number 88 which conveys prosperity, wealth and fortune. The design was conceived to have striking presence on the skyline combined with tradition and modernity. Programmatic elements are kept to the base while the observation deck and restaurant are reached by a glass elevator with 360-degree views of south China sea. It was designed to serve as a landmark and to draw millions of people to one of the leading amusement park in Southern China, near Macau.
